Do you see me?
This piece of God’s perfection…
Growing into a potter made by the creator, to grow into the promise that we made to each other.
To get better with time long after time allows us to grow, knowing we will lose our shine in life.
Knowing that I have learned to endure, holding onto the worst conditions or letting go.
Do you see me?
That I am not the image you made of me.
And yes, I have seen a lot of weak spots as they appear throughout the years in my spirit.
I’m still growing inside out with all the broken pieces.
Time has mended and remodeled the hidden parts of myself.
The one we keep, for we are secret keepers.
We do know how to keep our deepest fears about ourselves.
But Heaven knows the tears we cried, and has hidden behind our make-up, and dressed up broken parts.
I understand that the time is now for us to see our true selves.
Elroy means God sees me.
Do you see me?
I am wonderfully made.
Perfect in my imperfections.
A wonderful helpmate, wife, friend, daughter, somebody.
But most of all, I am the clay that was formed and molded by God’s Own Hands.
That’s me.
Do you see me?
